As we’re approaching the end of the year, it’s one of our very own founders that we’ve turned our attention to. As Florine was writing the final paragraphs of her new book, Shine – Digital craftsmanship for modern luxury brands, our team got busy preparing a simple yet elegant website to support the launch of the book.
The site provides insights into the main sections of the book, together with reviews from a range of industry thought leaders. It also offers a streamlined eCommerce functionality for visitors interested in purchasing Florine’s book.
The underlying infrastructure is robustly built on a LEMP stack with a stateless AWS EC2 instance and RDS database. The whole package being delivered through Cloudfront and S3 to ensure rapid loading times.
There is nothing quite like having free reign to design and develop a new website. Doing it for one of our founders added some spices to the mix, and we’re all delighted with the outcome. The sales performances of the book seem to be a good testament of the quality of our work (and Florine’s writing of course).
